Sherry Ott, President

Bridging the gap between business and technology, Sherry Ott is a results-oriented leader and big-picture champion, currently serving as WICT Greater Pittsburgh Chapter President. In her role as Senior Manager, Business Partner Project Management within CX Strategy & Operations at Comcast, Sherry leads planning and delivery for various cross-functional strategic initiatives. Since joining the cable industry in 1999, Sherry has served in various leadership roles within Product Management, Program/Project Management, Process Improvement, Customer Operations and Technology at Comcast, Charter Communications, Time Warner Cable and Adelphia Communications, managing enterprise-level technology product portfolios and executing strategic business plans. As a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Sherry is a catalyst for agile delivery of innovative solutions, achieving business objectives through a focus on the user and customer experience.

A WICT member since 2008, Sherry has enjoyed a variety of professional development and networking experiences within the Greater Pittsburgh, Carolinas, Midwest and Washington DC/Baltimore Chapters. In 2014, Sherry was selected to participate in the WICT Carolinas Chapter Leadership Community of Practice. In 2015, Sherry was accepted into the WICT Rising Leaders Program, an incredible leadership development opportunity to advance leadership skills, expand cable business acumen, and build valuable connections with fellow WICT members and industry professionals. Sherry served as WICT Greater Pittsburgh Chapter Advisor 2018-2020.

An alumnus of the University of Pittsburgh, Sherry earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management. Within the community, Sherry is a passionate advocate for medically fragile children and their families, as well as the arts. Inspired into action through her family’s personal experience, Sherry is an avid supporter and volunteer for The Children’s Home of Pittsburgh & Lemieux Family Center. She also serves on the Board of Directors for Zachary’s Mission and Committee for The Westmoreland Museum of American Art. Sherry resides in the Greater Pittsburgh area with her husband, Jason who shares her passion for making a positive impact in the lives of others.

Josephine Posti, Vice President

Josephine Posti is Comcast’s Senior Public Relations Manager for the Keystone Region, which includes parts of Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia and Maryland.  Previously, she worked in public relations for Pennsylvania American Water and Motorola, as well as public relations agencies focused on consumer brands.  Jo joined Comcast in 2016 and manages social media, influencer relations and media relations in each of the Keystone Region’s media markets. Jo has served as the regional lead for Unidos, one of Comcast’s seven employee resource groups and serves on the region’s Sustainability Council. She also supports the region’s Diversity & Inclusion Council and Culture Council. She has served on the board of directors of WICT Pittsburgh since 2018. Jo earned her BA in English from Kent State University and an MBA and MA in Journalism and Communications from Point Park University.

Jennifer Rudd,

Jennifer Rudd is a Project Manager for the Keystone Region, which included parts of Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia. In her role she wears many hats driving successful projects within Keystone. One project she is responsible for is the building of Xfinity stores from construction to opening for Comcast Xfinity Stores. Jennifer has been in the industry over 24 years starting her telecommunications career with Adelphia. In 2004 she came to Comcast and her next chapter began.  Her journey started with Inbound Sales as a Sales representative. Her leadership ability was recognized early on when she assisted the entire team when Comcast took over Adelphia systems. She became the Sales coach for the team, moved to the Marketing team to be a part of the Sales Operations team when it was set up in Keystone. Her love of sales led her back to Inbound Sales as a  Supervisor, and then her many talents were summoned by the Project Management Organization (PMO) in 2016 and she has been driving successful project since. Jennifer is actively involved in the ERG’s across Keystone. She is the Treasurer for WICT Greater Pittsburgh Chapter and  a member of the Women’s Network. Jennifer also is the events lead for the  Black Employee Network, a member of the DE&I Council, Young Professionals Network, Asian Pacific American Network, Vet Net, and the My Abilities Network.  Education has always been important for her own development, so she went back to school and graduated in September 2020 from the University of Phoenix with a BA in Business. She decided she was not done yet and started her Master’s Program for business in November 2020 and should complete the program in early 2022. Her faith and family are very important to  Jennifer. She has a  15-year-old son Patrick, who she tries to keep up with. Jennifer loves the Pittsburgh Steelers, Penguins, and Pirates and loves going to the games.  She also enjoys reading, loves the summer sun and the beach, and just being outdoors. Jennifer loves everything Christmas and keeps the spirit alive all year long.

Susan Comunale, Secretary

Susan is the Vice President of Finance for the Northeast Division of Comcast.   In her role she is responsible for the oversight of Revenue Assurance and Data Integrity at the divisional level, the Credit and Collections Teams and our Internal Audit groups.  Susan joined the cable industry as a customer service representative in 1984.  Through grit and grace, she has worked her way up through the organization.  She has made many contributions to the business.  She led the Keystone region through several significant and highly impactful changes including the CSG conversion, the care call center site consolidation, and the launch of Einstein Chat – which is a platform use to provide support to care and retail agents to improve the overall customer experience.  In 2020, she led a tNPS Tiger Team to great success through new initiatives and elevations.  Susan has been an active leader in Employee Resource Groups at Comcast and is a founding leader of the WICT Greater Pittsburgh Chapter, where she has first served as treasurer and then Vice President and now serving her second year as secretary of the Chapter.  She volunteers her time at a program called Shining Arrow, a program that assists young adults with disabilities and with Strong Women Strong Girls and Girl Scouts of Western Pennsylvania as a member of their 2021 Pittsburgh Awards of Distinction Honorary Committee.

Danielle Erringer, Chapter Advisor

Danielle Erringer, is currently the Sr HR Director with Comcast, with 20 years of Human Resource experience focused on employee relations, change management and business strategy.  Danielle is currently the President of the Greater Pittsburgh WICT chapter, a member of the Comcast Women’s Network, Comcast Young Professional Employee Resource Group and a member of the Pittsburgh Women’s Alliance organization.  Danielle is a huge advocate in supporting women in our communities who want to get into a technical field or who are already working in the field but are looking for support and resources to help them be successful. She collaborates with other groups of women who share a common interest in helping to have an impact in attracting, retaining, and advancing diverse professional women in the Pittsburgh Region.   Her interests include taking time for exercise, which includes Yoga and running but her most important joy in life is spending time with her six grandchildren.
